Post date 'if' needed

Hi,

On my bylines, for post date using an element, I’d like to display the published date by itself if there is no updated date, and the updated date with 'updated:" if there is an updated date.

So like this:

1/1/23 (if just published)

Updated: 1/1/23 (if there is an updated date).

Right now, if I set the post date to the updated date - it’s blank when first published. And of course I can’t set the text “Updated:” as conditional.

Is there a way to get the behavior I am looking for?

Yes, there’s a way through custom code. How are you currently adding this date? Is it through a GB Block or is it the default one?
