Missing read more link with short excerpt

when the excerpt is short, the read more link is not there. It looks like the last word must be truncated for the read more link to appear. How can this be solved?

Hi @rom1our,

Can you check if you have a custom excerpt or a read more block for some of these posts?

Hi @fernandoazarcon2,
the excerpt is the first paragraph of the post. I try to keep it within 160 characters to show the whole text.
About the read more, I use a custom more link “>>>” but I can use also the standard button. The question is then, how to style it (rounded border, height, width).
However, as you can see in the screenshot, if I cut the last word the read more link is there, if I show the full excerpt text (first screenshot above), the read more link is not there.

For one, you can leave the custom more link blank, and then add a GB Buttons block after the excerpt. Through this, you can modify the look of the button. Otherwise, you can use custom CSS to alter the look of the read more button.

Hi Fernando,
have you a sample for the custom CSS?

You can try this:

a.read-more.button {
    border-radius: 16px;
    padding: 20px 40px;
