Headline or Button, neither works in this case

Hi, I’m trying to display an icon that’s also a link, with text underneath. Like this:

However I’m not able to make it work using either a Headline block or a Button block. I know I can make it work with custom CSS but I’m trying to avoid it. My issues:

With Headline block:

  • The icon is not a link, only the text is. For my use case, I need the icon to be the primary link, although I don’t mind if the text (or the entire block) is. But the icon definitely needs to be a link
  • There is no option to make the link open in a new tab…

With GB Button block:

  • There is no way to place the icon above the text, only on the right or left.

Anyone have an idea how I can achieve the intended result (or if it’s possible without custom css)?

It will be possible in the upcoming GenerateBlocks update. Example: Edit Page “Home” ‹ fazarcon...

For now, you’ll need custom CSS.
