Background shapes on containers with background images

Hi
I have 2 adjancent containers with background images.
I would like to have a ‘wave’ shape between them. But since the shape does not actualy clip the container but add a layer, the background image cannot be clipped.
See attaqched image.
Is there a way to ahieve this with GB shapes? or is the only option to actually cut the background image to that shape?

Not with a Shape. You would need to add a Clipping Path with some CSS to do that
